Hyperhidrosis is excessive sweating. It affects 2-3% of the U.S. and causes a lot of self-esteem issues among those with this

condition. Hyperhidrosis can affect the underarms (axillary hyperhidrosis) beginning in late adolescence or the palms of the hands and soles of the feet (palmoplantar hyperhidrosis) beginning earlier adolescence.

There are several different causes can trigger hyperhidrosis from neurologic, endocrine, infections and other systemic diseases to mood, weather & emotions. Those who are affected by hyperhidrosis will sweat most of their waking hours, regardless of the weather or emotions.
