Lentigines

A lentigo is a sun spot, usually dark brown, most common in whites with fair skin. Sun exposure is the major cause and can appear on the body where the skin gets the most sun. Genetics also play a part in lentigines. Avoid too much sun exposure or make sure to use at least SPF 50 sunscreen and reapply every 1.5-2 hours or wear long sleeve shirts and wide rimmed hats to prevent lentigines.

Can we treat lentigines?

YES! We have the most up to date technology to treat those sun spots! They can be frozen with liquid nitrogen or a laser treatment to get rid of those unwanted spots! We have 3 different lasers that treat these unwanted sun spots.  Check out our laser pages.
