If you suspect skin cancer, it is best to have your moles examined by one of our doctors or our physician assistant. If it is deemed necessary, we can remove the mole using Mohs micrographic surgery or another option and perform a biopsy to determine the nature of the mole. Very few doctors in Idaho are as qualified as Drs. Sewell and Miner in performing Mohs surgery. To be certified to perform Mohs micrographic surgery, Dr. Sewell and Dr. Miner had a full additional year of fellowship training centered on the precise removal of many different skin cancers, and the aesthetic reconstruction of the surgical defects after their removal.  Our doctors are committed to minimizing scars for our mole removal patients.
