Injectables (Botox and Fillers)

Many people are faced with the common effects of aging including facial wrinkles, creases and folds, thin or flat lips, and hollow areas under the eyes, temples and cheeks. Fortunately there are numerous injectable treatments like Botox and dermal fillers available to instantly reverse the signs of aging; earning injectables the nickname “liquid facelift”.
These non-surgical treatments work in various ways to provide volume and lift to targeted problem areas – smoothing out wrinkles and lines, plumping flat lips, and correcting hollow areas. Today’s injectables have the power to provide complete facial rejuvenation, giving patients a more fresh and youthful appearance.

Botox reduces or eliminates facial lines and wrinkles for up to six months with no downtime or surgery and little to no discomfort. Through a series of tiny injections, BOTOX® gives you a rejuvenated look by smoothing crow’s feet beneath the eyes, frown lines between the eyebrows, horizontal lines across the forehead, worry lines around the mouth, and lines on the neck. Botox can also treat hyperhidrosis by blocking the nerves that stimulate sweat glands.
RESTYLANE is a gel that is injected into the skin in order to add volume to lips and lift up wrinkles or folds. Restylane consists of hyaluronic acid, which is a natural substance already present in your body. Once in the skin, Restylane works by creating volume. During treatment, the crystal-clear Restylane gel is injected into the skin in tiny amounts with a very fine needle. The gel produces volume under the wrinkle, which is lifted up and smoothed out. When enhancing lips or facial contours, Restylane adds volume and shape to the treated area. Results last up to one year.

Restylane and Perlane are used for treating facial contour defects. The most common treatments involve:

  • Naso-labial folds (“smile lines”)
  • Peri-oral lines (above the lip)
  • The vermilion ridge (top of the lip)
  • Glabellar frown lines (between the eyebrows)
  • Oral commissures (“marionette lines”)
  • Depressed scars (e.g. acne)
