When you are looking for an Idaho dermatologist office that you can trust, look to High Valley Dermatology.

What is a dermatologist? A dermatologist is a medical doctor who specializes in the treatment of skin, hair, and nails. He or she has earned a degree from medical school. They have completed an internship. Dermatologists then go on to get additional training in a three-year residency program. Some dermatologists, like the ones at our office, choose to get even more training in a fellowship program that specializes in a certain aspect of dermatology. Our physicians have this fellowship training so they can also specialize in Mohs micrographic surgery. Very few dermatologists practicing in Idaho have this distinction. This extra training means we have performed hundreds of surgeries in the treatment of skin cancer. We also have extra training in the aesthetic reconstruction of the skin after surgery.

When should you see a dermatologist? Dermatologists can help with all different types of skin problems. Come and see us if you need help with common skin conditions like eczema, acne, unsightly moles, athlete’s foot, rashes, ringworm, melasma, warts, psoriasis, sebaceous hyperplasia or any other skin concern. Also see us if you suspect skin cancer or precancer. You might be referred to us by your primary care doctor or you can also just call us directly. We are ready and willing to help you with all of your dermatology needs. If you are looking for an Idaho dermatologist, then Dr. Willis and Dr. Sewell are currently accepting new patients. We also have a physician assistant on staff, PA Joe Anderson, who may see you. At your visit, you will be examined, a diagnosis will be made and we will walk you through available treatment options.
